Der Kraftstoff für Modelldiesel besteht aus einer einfachen Mischung:

1/3 Aether, 1/3 Rizinusöl, 1/3 Petroleum (Kerosin)

Über Simprop kann man Sprit mit Zündzusätzen kaufen.

Der Sprit heisst D1000, D2000, D3000.

D1000 ist auch für kleine Diesel sehr gut geeignet.

Its very simpel,as long as you can get aether,I can buy in the netherlands aether just in the pharmacy.I must order it,
If you cant order it this way.The second way is to ask your pharmacy to mix the fuel for you,because thats not selling a controlled substance anymoore.The Cetan booster you can ad later. BARDAHL CETAN BOOSTER - 500 ml
The 3rd option is buy on the internet a spraycan of startpilot.( John Deere seems to have a high aether of 90 %) Its comonly used for starting car engines,mostly diesels and similar ,when they refuse to start in very cold winter or with bad compression...
The trick is to put the can in the freezer,cold as possibel,( -30) and spray it empty in a big container.( Also cold as possibel,BUT OUTSIDE!!) Do this fast as possibel,and if you finished,close the container right away! BUT BE VERY CAREFUL,NO OPEN LIGHT OR HEAT ARROUND OF 10 METERS AT LEAST!! AETHER IS EXTREEM LIGHT INFLAMBABLE STUFF!!! 
Than I use a cilinder shaped glas and mark it with a marker to 25/ 50/ 75 and 100 % marks/lines
Now start with the lamp oill ...petroleum. I always use a fine mesh,like the carpaintshop use, (125 micron) if its not a new clean container.
So ad 40 % petroleum, 30% castoroil ( I use on this a half/half with 2 stroke synthetik scooter mix), and 30% aether.
Shake the very good closed glas strongly and long enough and check,if the castor oil is solube completly...you can see it very wel!.
Now just give a "shot " of cetan booster to the mix,...I woud say 3 tea spoons on this glas of fuel mix. is oke.
Actualy you change now the percentage of the whole mix of course,...so its gona be aprox. 40% 29% 29% 2%....dont worry,about some procent less or moore,only the cetan booster shoud be really a smal "dip" only!
Only if you run smal diesels till 1,0cc ,shortstroke engines and engines with a R/C carburator.than it shoud it be bether to add moore aether,...depend on engine,aprox. 35%-40%.
In smal engines the eather makes them much better start,and in r/c engines this wil give a far better throttel responce.Also shortstroke engines wil give it a better power output,as the petroleum burns faster,and its less time because the high revs.
Lomgstroke engines and performance engineslike also the addition of regular motoroil.
15 W 40 is fine.The oil give extra lubricaition,and also burning energy.In this mix you can ad aprox.10% motoil and can reduce the castoroil to15- 20%
A second tip is,make not to much fuel,so use always fresh mixed fuel,....and also keep it in a metal or glas (never plastic) canister with a very wel closing cover.If you go flying,its oke to take the old jam pot glas with fuel.....as its only for a short time,but dont put it in direct sunlight for houers,It wil change the molekules of your mix!
Variations of the mix:
If you use moore petroleum,the engine wil have better fuel economy and moore power,but dont push it to far,55% is a limit in my opinion,because the engine get too hot.This is actually a race mix! .(They put even a drip of liquid molykote to it,as a extra lubrication additiv)
If you go for the 30/30/30 "Household mix" ,..thats the standart mix,you are on the safe side!...but also the 2% cetaanbooster or Amylnitrate!
When you have a new engine,or a one remaked with new piston like in my many cases,I increase the castor oil to 35%, and dont mix with syntetic 2 stroke oil! ...Nothing beats castor oil !!! 
This half/half lubrication oil mixing of regular 2 stroke oil I do after the "run in" proces is compleet,and the engine is free up.
The petroleum is the main energy supplier in the combustion process! Aether has almost no burning energy to deliver,its only very violant and works as a catalisator,...but it also cools the engine a bit from the incoming fresh gases.So less aether = hotter engine!
I hope,to help peopel with this issue,because I see manytimes questions about the fuel,....and it is of course a very important issue,if you want to start and run a modeldiesel wel... :-)
Some peopel dont even know about the existens of model diesel engines....but the have one with the strange thing on the head.... :-) and are ofcourse very interrested! ..
